Laura Camara and the Jake Reed Jazz Trio perform together often to a wide range of audiences. We have a number of wonderful programs available for concert style shows. We are also able to create a program tailored to you event. Contact me for inquires and details.
Shades of Ellington - Vocalist Laura Camara and The Jake Reed Jazz Trio perform songs from Duke Ellington’s catalogue, exploring the emotional range of America's most prolific composer. The program features some of Duke Ellington's most beloved works including selections from his early recordings, popular standards, sacred concerts, and some never before heard arrangements.
Sarah Vaughan - The Divine One - A special homage to one of the greatest voices of American Music. This show features some of the most loved songs from her long career including "Nice Work if you can get it," "Polkadots and Moonbeams," "Doodlin'," "Shulie A Bop," "East of the Sun," and more.
The Songs of Laurel Canyon - Laurel Canyon is the mountainous area in West Los Angeles where some of the most iconic music of the 1960's and 1970's was born. During the golden years from 1967-1972 a number of America's most beloved songwriters lived, played, and collaborated together to produce music that would define a generation. Laura Camara and friends perform original jazz arrangements of a few famous canyon residents: The Mamas & the Papas, Joni Mitchell, CSNY, James Taylor, and Carol King.
Bossa Nova Royalty - Critically acclaimed saxophonist Pete Mills and vocalist Laura Camara team up to present the kings and queens of Bossa Nova. Lose yourself to the dulcet tones of Mills' rich tenor sax and Camara's astoundingly versatile and colorful voice as they perform the music of Joao and Astrud Gilberto, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Stan Getz, Maria Toledo and Luiz Bonfa.
The Jake Reed Jazz Trio performs standards from the american songbook and a collection of originals. The trio of piano, bass and drums can enhance the atmosphere of any event and bring joy to your next celebration.
The CapCity Jazz Quartet is a professional jazz quartet based in Columbus, OH with over fifteen years of performing experience. While we specialize in jazz standards, we can accomodate almost any request including covers of popular songs like “Counting Stars” or “Make You Feel My Love.”
